Fasting

During a 24 days holiday, I have a relaxing and chill mode, going out, eating out, drinking.I swore that I don't take sugar, carbohydrates and milk after I found out how bad they are did to my body. They are bad for me and for anyone but once in a while it's fine. However during the holiday I was out of control, keep eating and it was uncontrollable, from savory to sweet, from sweet back to savory.

How to get back my regime and get better energy ? The only way is Fasting. Human evolution was primarily influenced by the activity of hunting for relatively large and fast animals. Hunter-gatherers used to hunt animals and gather resources from the forest for food and shelter. They used to move from place to place for many reasons including searching for water, food and prey. Humans are born hunters 2.6 million years ago and our brains are wired to purse game.

The brain with which we navigate our modern life- sitting for hours in front of screens while earring processed food - is the exact same brain that we had as hunters and gatherers 12,000 years ago according research. That means sometime they eat and sometime they don't if they couldn't catch anything, they are not eating everyday, sugar, carbohydrates are not natural food, they are processed. Cow milk is for calf. Some of food we eat is not real anymore.

So fasting or intermittent fast will help me to reconnect with our body and redefine our relationship with food. I will no longer eat "by the clock" and I will gain clarity around the difference between actual hunger and cravings or emotional eating.I highly recommend to watch the video down below to understand why fasting is so important.

Hope this video can make you understand more about fasting and enjoy watching.:)
